If this is your Step One in jumping rope, we reccomend the beaded rope. It gives a perfect balance for weight and control for new users, and they are best for learning new tricks.

Rope length is dependent on your height and your skill level. For beginners, a longer rope is recommended and as you become more experienced, you can shorten your rope along the way. To get the right rope length: 1. Step on the middle of the rope with both feet. 2. Pull the rope toward your chest. The rope, excluding the handles, should hit below or mid chest level. For more advanced jumpers, rope can be adjusted at a hip or belly button level.

1. Untie the knot, and take off the washer , handle and the rubber stopper. You don't need to put the rubber back. 2. Remove the extra beads. 3. Put handle and washer back on. Make sure there's around 5 inch of space between the last bead and the handle. 4. Then tie a knot. 5. It is highly recommended to jump and play around with the rope before cutting off the excess cord. 6. Once you are happy and comfortable with the new legth of your rope, cut the end and use a lighter to singe. Note: Don't throw the excess beads away! Keep them and you can use them if there's a need to change your beads.

1. Pull down the handle and you will see the snap-lock mechanism. 2. Pull the lock to separate the 2 parts of the snap-lock. 3. Slide it to the section to get your desired length. 4. Lock the 2 parts of the snap-lock. 5. It is highly recommended to jump using the rope before cutting off the excess cord. 6. Once you are happy and comfortable with the new legth of your rope, you can now cut the excess with a pair of scissors.
